Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookie
Ingredients:
- ½ cup packed brown sugar
- ½ cup butter, softened
- ½ cup shortening
- ¾ cup white sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- 1 ½ cups mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 package (8 ounces) Heath Toffee Bits
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Mix sugars, margarine and shortening until light and fluffy. Mix in egg and vanilla. Stir in flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Stir in chocolate chips and brickle chips.
- Drop dough by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 9-10 minutes until lightly brown.
Yield: About 6 dozen
